Severe Endo with ovary and uterus attached to bladder.

My gyno diagnosed me with severe endo. threw a lap.  She said that my ovaries were so enlarged that they were touching. She removed all the endometriomas from my ovaries. She said that my bladder drainage tubes had scar tissue all over them and that my bladder would have to be disected if I opt for a hyserectomy due to my ovaries and uterus being attached to it.  She said I could try for a baby for awhile longer but that ultimately hysterectomy is my best option if I do not want more kids. I have scheduled hysterectomy because it scares me to try for a baby if all those parts are attached and with all that scar tissue.  I am afraid a growing baby in my belly will pull things that may not need to be pulled considering it is all attached and how can ovaries that are that enlarged be in good working order. The MD says I would be fine if I became pregnant but I was having terrible pain just with ovulation prior to my lap. Now the pain with ovulation is minimal but pain with period is horrible not to mention the heavy bleeding?? Just wandering if anyone else is going threw anything simular.

Hi. My gyno had never been able to feel any endo. and I think I have had this problem for over10 years. After my lap my gyno referred me to a  gyn. oncologist as he is able to do hard surgeries. When the oncologist examined me he said he did not feel any lesions but by trying to move around my uterus  he could tell that it was attached to my bladder and not my colon.  I do not think that a internal finger exam will tell you anything unless you have nodules or lesions actually in the vagina.  That is just from my experience.  My gyno was suppose to be a specialist in laps and these type problems and she was shocked at how severe mine was once she got in there. Never once did she feel anything unusual during a exam.  Hope this helps
