Upper abdominal pain with endometriosis?

I recently went to the ER with severe left upper abdominal pain.  They did a ct scan and found a cyst.  After ob/gyn did  an ultrasound he told me that he thought it I most likely have endo.  I'm 32 and have a 2 year old son.  I've always had very painful periods.  I was wondering if anyone else has this type of pain in their left upper abdomen?  I will definitely pursue lap. if it is but I'm very concerned that there might be something else going on in my colon or stomach.  The pain has been pretty constant for the past month regardless if I'm on my period or not.
Thanks in advance for any help!

It might be a stretch bilat you might have them check your gallbladder. Pain can be referred. Gb pain is usually more right upper and mid abdominal pain but it's a possibility. Just a thought. Hope you find something out!
