Thanks for all your info. I value other womens opinions greatly and its nice to know that I am not alone. I am waiting now for my Urologist to set up an appointment to scope my urethra. I think that I too may have Vulvodynia. I have been like this for 7 years and from what I understand from Googling that there really is no cure. I have had a biopsy done 5 years ago and it came back negative, just yeast. I do drink alot of water, but I had to give up walking because my back is so bad.
I value my feet greatly because I spend alot of time on them dailly, and I invested in a good pair of shoes and sneakers. Has for a support bra, I don't need one, I was made in a hurry they say. I weigh 150 lbs, 5 3". I use to weigh 170 lbs.
The doctor told me that they called a Bowel Specialist in and he wanted to remove the bowel but she wasn't satisfied. This surgeory alone was big enough. They did nick the bowel and had to repair it. I need to find out more information about endo affecting your Gastro Intestinal tract.
Thanks for all your info. I will keep you posted
I have endo as well, and had a lap done last month, they found a little..........however no one has said anything about the outside pain, itching, sometimes a little bit raw feeling, around my urethra area, kind of like a uti coming on and a yeast infection too. However, I have been tested for those countless times and they are negative. I had a urologist scope my urethra which hurt alot, but he said it does not look like I have interstitial cystitis..................so I did my own research and I think I have vulvodynia. Not sure if this is something that could apply to you too, just google it and see if it sounds like what your problems may be. I wish you luck and hope you get relief soon!!
i would have another lap done to make sure its all gone. Sometimes when they think that they have removed it all, there are places it hides and can come back. You know what you are feeling and it sounds like its still there.
how did they clean up your bowel? I was told that they can't "clean up the bowel" for fear of nicking it or damaging it. That's why they did a bowel resection on me. As for the IBS, the stress of it all can cause the IBS but my personal opinion is that the endo can affect your gastro intestinal tract too.
As for the bladder. I have similar feelings but they don't seem as severe as yours. I find that drinking water helps and so does exercising. Don't push the exercise to hard though. That will make the back pain more intense and make sure that you use good gym shoes and a good support bra. Even when walking.
I sure hope the dr.s can find a way to help you. Stay positive and don't give up.
