endometriosis

Hi i am 17 and my doctor just told me that there is a very high chance that i have edometriosis. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me about their stories having and some of the things that i should expect.. and if anyone has had any long term effects from it.. thank you

My doc has ruled out everything else, i get really bad pains in i would say my ovaries area and some times it is that bad that it make my physically  sick.

So sorry you are sooo young to have this disease. There are several posts on this forum and several understanding ladies that will help. Is your doc planning to do surgery to determine if in fact you have endo? What are your symptoms? Adding them will help others to answer your questions. I hope that your doctor is wrong and that you do not have endo.
