just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with GI issues accadentally

I'm wondering if my doctors have diagnosed me incorrectly.
First my doctors thought I had issues with my gallbladder and I was sent for an ultrasound which came back fine, then a ct scan which also was fine. I've had two full blood panels done which were both perfect.
I did test positive for c diff which is an infection in your intestines which I am thinking is making my primary doctor and my GI doctor chalk everything else up to c diff. The c diff is gone now but my pain symptoms have worsened. I had a colonoscopy done last week and was found to have mild improving colitis and IBS. Only problem is I don't feel improvement, I feel the opposite.
It all started with a pain in my right side, back cramps and tightening around my rib cage. Now I am having pain warping around my hips and intense intense menstrual type pains all day long every day in my lower pelvic area, bloated feeling, unable to pass gas easily, and I go from either constipation for a few days to an urgent need to go. I feel like I'm on my period all the time but I'm not. Also when I had my last menstrual cycle while going through all of this I was hunched over on my couch for 2 days in intense pain.
I was reading something about endometriosis and gi issues getting confused. I have made an appointment for a gynecological check up to be on the safe side but was wondering if anyone went through anything involving endometriosis that effected their intestines?
All three of my sisters have been diagnosed with endometriosis and thinking back at the past two years, I have had a lot of menstrual changed especially recently I noticed I would get bad cramping days before my period would show up and lots of heavy bleeding.

I agree-you should see your gyno and have a laparoscopy done to get a diagnosis. You can definitely have both endo and ibs, I do.

It sounds like you have endo, especially since your sisters have it. I would ask for a lap since that is the only way to get a definitive answer and it sounds like you've exhausted all the other tests.
