I haven't had a lap done in 20 years, but even then, I was only down for a few days. I had one done on a Friday and was back at work Monday. A lot will depend on if they find and fix anything. It may be longer if they have to do repairs. If you're in a sport or anything, that may be restricted longer.
To minimize recovery time, listen and follow your doctor's instructions exactly. You'll likely be told not to lift things over a certain weight, to rest, maybe to walk (these are slow, gentle walks). Whatever they say to do, do it. Some of it might suck, but do it anyway. :)
You might get bored, so have something ready to do. Find some shows you want to binge, or books you want to read. If you like video games, play those as long as you don't get too physical.
Good luck, and let us know what happens!
