Also don't eat shellfish many people gradually become very allergic to it ..and it can kill you..that and the kimchee are. Just 2 simple things I wanted to suggest.. I don't know much about you so I'm just starting with things known to me that are basic but important to know..which are things you may already know and not intended to insult your intelligence.. for you sound knowledgable and intelligent keeping track of your illness but I firmly believe a healthy diet and exercise like simple walking is essential to getting better. And a good place to start any kind of healing process..I hope you find
a solution and cure soon.
I really think you would benefit from a daily portion of kimchee in your diet.. It has a very high concentration of probiotics which has been known to kill yeast in the body.. Yeast can wreak havoc in the body if left to grow.. And it has a simple dietary fix
Have you tried daily diet of kimchee (you know...fermented cabbage) it has a very high concentration of pro biotic which kills yeast in the body.. If you don't know how to make it google it.. It's a very easy and inexpensive to make and can't hurt to try...
I had EBV over 25 years ago, which has resulted in permanent chronic fatigue syndrome. No supplements have helped so for. The only bloodwork that consistently comes back abnormal is my C-reactive protein. This indicates that there is inflammation somewhere in the body, but I don't know where, or if this is what is causing the CFS.
After taking my blood test results, my doctor noticed high level of MONO%=13,1% (normal % was 3-10%) and high MXD % (MONO + EO + BZ)=15.3% (normal % was 3-10%).
After this she recommended me to take EBV IGG and IGM tests, which results i took today and i was very worried, because EBV IGG resulted positive in high level = 43,96 RU/ml, while EBV IGM resulted 5,7U/ml. Please, can anyone explain to me what does this result mean? I am new to this thing. I have researched a lot today in the internet, but i am still very confused. Somewhere it seems like a very serious condition and somewhere like something not so serious.
I would appreciate a lot if someone would just explain a little bit what do these blood test results mean. Thank you, thank you!!!
I had some of your symptoms. I think you're obsessive compulsive about the HIV thing because you're worried about the exposure you might have had in Thailand. Stop it!!! you don't have HIV. You've been test a gazzillion times and the doctor keeps telling you you don't have it. For crying out loud, believe your doctor and the tests!
In late December 2015 I had a few episodes of extreme itching. I noticed it began soon after my wife had a yeast infection and through intercourse gave it to me. Or maybe, I had unknowingly given it to her. Anyway, it last a few days and I took some topical lamisil. I had a night or two of fairly difficult itching all over my body.
Then while on a trip to NYC we went out to dinner with friends and we all celebrated with desserts and I overdid it, again. When we got back to the hotel room I started itching all over. It was worse than EVER. I kept taking showers and the water could not get hot enough. Strangely it ACTUALLY felt good the hotter it got and the more violently I could itch/rub my hands and feet, and anywhere else. To say I was miserable would be a complete understatement.
I felt like the answer would have been to be totally naked and strung up by my hands and have 6 people with metal garden rakes scratching my body everywhere. I laid down on the floor and my wife walked all over my hands, arms and legs. When she stood on my hands I told her to put all her weight on one hand at a time and do the twist with one of her heals. That heal was the only point of contact so all of her 140 lbs was twisting and grinding on my hand and it was a total "scratch-gasm". It was so sick because that actually felt good. sick. She couldn't be heavy enough.
How I wished I had an Ambien so that I could have slept. zero sleep that night. We flew back to Utah but I called a doctor in my neighborhood before we took off and told him what was happening and asked him to prescribe something for a horrible yeast infection. He practically laughed and said it had nothing to do with yeast. I told him it had started after intercourse with my wife when she had a yeast infection and my penis had felt infected at that time and it just gradually got worse until this horrific night/crisis. He said, "get some Benadryl, and some topical lotion."
Accept for a previous experience I would have believe him and I would no doubt still be miserable and using hundreds of tubes of anti-itch and shampoo, etc...
But two years ago I had similar symptoms but only about 20 percent of this episode. So I knew this was related. It was a totally candida imbalance. Doctors that have been trained more than ten years ago typically are unfamiliar with the ravages of candida imbalance. According to my doctor, not my neighbor who scoffed, a great many people have it and are treated for other things because their doctors don't know that candida imbalance is the root cause of so many symptoms and illnesses. It's caused by our unhealthy and unnaturally high intake of sugars. Almost everything we eat contains high levels of sugar. A hundred years ago people ate a couple pounds of sugar per years. Now the average America consumes about 150 LBS of sugar per year.
So I went to my other doctor and sure enough that was it. She gave me 200 mg per day for 60 days of Diflucan (generic is: Fluconazole). She also put me on a strict no sugar diet. No sucrose, fructose, no bread, NOTHING with yeast what so ever, no cheese, etc.. Basically a strict palio diet without the fruit or berries. I did that for 30 days and I've been trying to avoid too much sugar since coming off. But it did the trick. Within a few days the itching was completely gone and has not returned. I hope this is helpful.
Here's a link about candida. You can find tons about it on the web: .http://www.amymyersmd.com/2015/11/10-signs-you-have-candida-overgrowth-and-what-to-do-about-it/
