Happy Thanksgiving

Plateletgal,

There was some great information on the sites. I am going to ask my neurologist about them. I think I could deal with the flu like symptoms, but the neuro symtpoms drive me crazy. I just dont want to sit around and wait to get an even worse diagnosis. If there are some things that I can do to keep MS from rearing its head, then I am open to do that. I have increased my Vitamin D intake, but I get the impression that most of my physicians just keep sitting around waiting until things get worse. It took me to go through 11 doctors (7 of them specialist) before I was able to get dx'd with anything. It has been very frustrating!

All of my symptoms are basically neurologically related. I have insomnia, electrical/shock sensations in extremities, tingling, numbness, muscle twitching, and pain that is migratory. I don't have any flu like symptoms, which is synonymous with Epstein Barr. However, I don't have any swollen lymph nodes or flu like symptoms, which is why this is so puzzling and scary. I am open to doing whatever I can to fight the Epstein Barr turning into anything worse.

You can probably treat your undiagnosed illness right now. I have very little doubt about that. There are treatments that can help you with your symptoms... but there are also treatments that can fight the disease.

What are all of your symptoms anyway ? Flu like symptoms can go along with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (what I have) and then many people with CFS have fibromyalgia (shooting pains... widespread pain.... tingling..... muscle twitching)
