Erectile Dysfunction?

heres the deal. 22 years old, have never been able to hold an erection long enough to take me from foreplay to sex before losing it. I can get an erection most of the time. While technically I have had sex, it doesnt really count,as in I never came from sex. When ever i/partner stops stimulating my penis, it goes flacid within 5 seconds. I find this pretty messed up and its cost me many sexual expereinces. Failed every time I have tried, maybe 25-30? I guess I've been jerking it since 11 very consistently and watching alot of porn as well.

recently went off porn and no longer masturbate. Have a gf who I try to have sex with, always fail so we just pretty much just pleasure each other in other ways. Im trying to keep the number of times I ejaculate per week to 2-3.

kegels every other day about 75 flex reps, and 3 sets of a 30 sec hold. been doing kegels for a month maybe. Started doing other penis exercises like Jelq's. are these bad?

tried all ED drugs (viagra, cialis) and they help nothing with the holding erection part I still lose erection when not stimulated. This is also messed up to me that these dont work.

I'd like to think this isnt mental because the same thing happens when Im alone or with a girl, dont feel nervous at all when getting ready to have sex, I know this because I used to. Id get that feeling in my stomach/throat, heart would beat 200 times a sec ect, doesnt happen anymore tho.

Whats wrong with me doc?

It is extremely rare to have ED at your age, unless you have been using porn consistently for several years.

We have been seeing guys in their teens with porn induced ED on our forums. They have trouble getting and maintaining an erection for real-life sexual partners. It is becoming an epidemic. If you think this may be part of your problem.

Chronic erectile dysfunction is NOT a problem for men under 40 - or at least it wasn't until Internet porn arrived.

Internet porn can become an addiction, and with all addictions the brain changes, or adapts. It does not matter if the addiction is to a substance or whether it is a behavioral addiction, the same brain changes result.

Today's internet porn is nothing at all like our ancestors ever encountered, with the constant novelty and genres of extreme porn. Unlike yesterday's Playboy, Internet porn overstimulates the brain structures responsible for libido, erections, and addiction.

Brain changes include a drop in dopamine receptors in the reward circuitry. Reducing the amount of dopamine receptors decreases your pleasure response to "normal" stimuli. In other words, real-life sexual partners and previous porn won't excite your brain enough to get your penis going. Turning on dopamine receptors is how you get turned on.

Here are two excellent presentations, by a science teacher, on the effects of pornography on the brain. They are non-religious, non-judgmental, and science based.

You said you consulted a doctor but was he a urologist? Maybe you need to get a second opinion (e.g. a urology clinic). If there's nothing organically wrong with you, your condition may be psychogenic. Anxiety, depression, mood disorders, fatigue, stress can have a drastic impact on a man's sex life.

In my case (coital anxiety), oral drugs were very effective. I'm currently taking VIGAMED (oral phentolamine) and Cialis and I'm very happy with the results. I'm gradually decreasing doseages and hopefully in the future I won't need any drugs.

Well...ED drugs (viagra, cialis)  will help you only when sexual stimulation is present.Your sexual hermone should be active during love making.

It would be great if you consult your physician.
