Loosing a Erection

My hubby is 42. When involved in foreplay he maintains a hard erection. During a few minutes of sex his erection soften. This doesn't happen all the time but seems to happen more when I am in control. It's very discouraging and I lose my desire to continue. Also he can go 2 weeks without sex. We have been married ten yrs and only the last year or so have I noticed this. He claims it's not me (what man wouldn't). He used to have a pornography problem but has disappeared from my our home completely. Any suggestion to his problem? He does not smoke, drink or take any meds or supplements.

Have the same problem so here goes.I am in good shape physichally. Slight high blood pressure,I started having typical ed. symptoms, the shame was nearly overwhelming. My wife not at all understanding, felt meds. should not be necessary if I found her desirable. Got a little off track there.Fear and depression from his inability to perform would explain the 2weeks and the quicker loss of erection when you are in charge, from my personal experience.I don't know for a fact that's the case but if he can get a prescription for ed. meds. I would if it was me. Just please know, for me at least E.D. was devastating psychologicaly, but with meds sooooo much better.

Since he had some interest in porn at one time -- have you ask him about
masturbation habit.. That some times replaces the need for vagina sex.. It is Easier and without pressure  to hold erection .. The other thing that could be an issue would be his Testosterone level being too low .
Not having desire for 2 weeks would show that could be a problem .. This sure is not your problem but you could talk to him about these areas of concern..

Yup. A teaspoon of the amino acid Arginine in a beverage fifteen minutes before intimacy. It acts on the vasculature that supplies blood to the penis.

Honey, maybe he does not find women in control to be very sexy.  Sorry, but some men don't.  It reminds them too much of overwhelming schoolmarms and mothers and feeling inadequate.
