Fluorescent lighting

Hi.  I've been having trouble with dry eyes these last 2 months but have just realized how bad the fluorescent lighting is at work.  I grade papers all day long under these lights.  I'm not on the computer except to maybe print 1 or 2 things off.  My eyes ALWAYS start to bother me around 1:00pm. Shopping at Walmart has always been a problem too. Just the wind from walking down the aisles makes it hard for me.  It's very embarrassing.   I am wondering how well the Melanin Tint Eyeglasses work for this problem?  I do not wear glasses so they would be non-prescription.   This would be a big step for me as I've never worn anything but sunglasses, but if they'd help, it would be worth a shot.  Also, am I right that the above is from dry eyes??   They just never feel dry but watery to where I squint a lot.  It's very embarrassing!!    I know you've said it takes the Restasis that I'm on around 2-3 months to work.  Does it work on this watery sensation?  You've answered my other questions promptly and nicely, & I do thank you for that. I just go back & forth between stressing over this to be so aggravated. Thanks once again.

Thank YOU!

( Sorry for the statement "it's very embarrassing" being in there twice.  That's what happens when you edit and don't re-read).

Yes Restasis is helpful for "watery" eyes as well as dry as bone.

Read the many posts here about Restasis and  dry eyes/ tear dysfunction.
