why couldnt I see anything but black
I woke in the night to find i couldnt see anything at all in either eyes, the room isnt a very dark room, there is some light in the room but I couldnt see anything. I've had this happen before, it lasts a few minutes and goes away, What is it?
Dont smoke, dont do cannabis, my eyes are perfectly healthy had them checked by an opthalmologist

Then unless something changes move on and stop worrying. There are numerous posts like this on this website most from an iOS people and normal eyes fixating on entoptic phenomena

Can;’t tell you for sure. Has to start out with a complete medical eye exam by Eye MD ophthalmologist. Slow dark adaptation can be caused by nicotine and cannabis, poor diet.
