MY UPDATE - 13Wk 4Dy

Hi all -
Had my u/s today! My baby is well. My little angel is 7.8cms long, good heartbeat and was very, very active. Waving and moving about the entire time. I couldnt believe how visible the arms and legs were. The photo's I was given dont really do the pic justice though. It turns out I am 13wk 4dys not 12wk 6dys but much for muchness really. Due date is still based on aug 14 tho. Im so excited... My sis and dh had tears in there eyes. MY dh just kept saying wow! It did my heart good to see him happy. Weve  had a rough week so we needed some good news. 8 days ago we found out my beautiful dog, chevy had severe bone cancer. He seemed ok but then Sunday he took a turn for the worse and kept seizing and it kept getting worse and worse so we had no choice to take him to the vet to be put down. There was no turning back for him and we just gotta remind ourselves weve done the right thing as heartbreaking as it is. He was my baby and he was only 5.
I was so blessed to see my baby today and to experience this. It makes it all seem so real now. I cant wait 190something days haha! My dh thinks he saw a penis haha but I think he imagined it... I cant decipher whether I think its a baby girl or boy.. It wouldnt matter Im just happy to finally be a mum.

thanks all! it was amazing. i knew we'd see something but I didnt expect too see such an active little bugger! i think it may look like a pretty girl upon lookin at the pics! :-)
i havent stopped thinking about how great it was. I must be hormonal Im teary thinkin bout it now haha...
should i put the pics up even though ya cant really see very clear? i think i will ... xx

It must be amazing to see your baby moving and waving and acting exactly as a baby and not anymore like an embryo.

hi there!! Such great news about ur baby!  I can't even imagine what its like to see it moving about!!!  We see our new doctor tomorrow and can't wait to see our little bean again!! I'm about 9.5 weeks along and can't imagine what it looks like now!! Yipppeee for ssbd!  Xoxo e

Aww Lorri, I'm very sorry about your dog!! I've been there! It is tough but at least the poor guy doesn't have to be in pain anymore!! And he is still with you! Just remember that!!
About your baby... YAY!!!! It's sp great experiencing ultrasounds, This is my third baby and I am absolutely astonished every time I get an ultrasound done!! Hope you have a great 190something days...lol!! I only have 96 days left.. YAY!! You get here! Congrats again!!
