AGP Dance off continues

Season....6 I think.  Here we go dancing with the follies!

Magda leads in season number 4 with a whopping 30 follies.  Go Magda!  Heather Jo won season number 5 of the Implantation Follies, Lexima came in a close second!  Mary, Fiona, Jen, and Sam are gearing up, gathering speed and twirling with such grace and beauty it's anyones guess how this will turn out.  Lisa won the Libido round, but is hoping to join the Implantation dance this time around.  Helen, of course is twirling, though she's on the bench for short recovery period from a mild ovarian injury, heal Helen, heal!  Jackson, is temporarily on the side lines as well.  AF is currently holding her back.  Da*m beeatch!   But, she also has a mild injury delaying her entry into the follie dance we are all praying for a speedy recovery and hoping to see her twirliing again very soon.  Dee, well what can we say about Dee.  She's been our commentator, judge, secretary and comic relieve.   She's worn so many hats, we are all just very impressed.  This'll be her first entry into the follie dance with the coach Lupron, and (not sure) coach Follistim, or is it Gonal F?  I know Gonal F's fees run a bit higher.  Either way Dee's in good hands and we are all pulling for her.

OK dancers,  set your shoes, breath deep,  and.......DANCE!  Let the Follies begin!

Amy--I was unsuccessful w/Clomid also, but got pg my first round of injectables. Good Luck!

Helen--You should put yourself out of misery and go to the hospital. Otherwise, you will get dehydrated, They'll give you some IV fluids and Phenergen for the nausea, and send you home with some Phenergen to take. Plus, they need to figure out what is wrong. I am very worried about you, so please go see a doctor, OK?? Can you get the day off tomorrow?

Amy, clomid was horrible for me too but no problems with injectable.  You must be so excited to get going again.  Good luck.
Madga, yes I will be getting valium.  Can't believe you don't get some to settle your nerves during transfer.
J_A, follies sound really good.  I'm sure whatever the dr saw was nothing.  Just being careful.
Heather, glad you're feeling better.  Do worry about the weight, like you said once you're running after all those kids it'll fall off (the weight i mean).
Mary, glad you're doing okay.  You're in my thoughts.
Lisa, I hope you're okay.  You didn't sound like yourself.  Hope you get the romance problem sorted soon.  All I can say is "men"!!
Helen, you poor thing, hope you feel better soon.

Hey ladies -

I just got af today and I'm about to start my first cycle on injectables for my first IUI!  I did 5 rounds of clomid for PCOS w/o success, then found out I had endometriosis, so this will be my first attempt at anything since surgery in Dec to remove the endo.  I was wondering if any of you had any advice for me, and I was also wondering if any of you tried clomid as well as injections?  I had a HORRIBLE time on clomid, so I'm just wondering if I'm in for more of the same on the injectables?  I've heard from some that they are easier.

Thanks!
- Amy

Magda,
it's actually very common here to give valium during ivf transfer.  I heard that before on this forum and it is in my protocol.  So, I am not kidding.  I never tried it so am very excited about that.

I finish my office hours in an hour and a half; contemplating going to ER if my nausea does not go away.  I am hoping that my cyst ruptured but more likely it's just food poisoning  :(

Oh Fiona, I'm SO happy for you.  I'm sorry it wasn't both but hey, like everyone says... all you need is the one, right?  Keeping everything crossed for you.
Now about that valium...
Errr.. Helen, you were just kidding about that, right???

J_A, those follicles sound alright!  As for the 'mass', I'm assuming that if your doctor didn't make a point of saying anything about it then it must not be an issue, right???

Mary--I am glad you are doing well. Yes, life goes on, but still, it's not always easy. And, OMG, hit by a car twice???? On the same street? What are the chances? I am glad you are OK, and I hope you weren't too injured at the time(s). You thought I was 5'10'? Are you kidding? I don't even know any women that tall!

Helen--You poor thing, I can relate. Honestly, RX meds are the only ones that have ever worked for me--Phenergen or Zofran. Can you call your doctor and have them phone in a prescription? Saltines and ginger ale are what I use when I have nothing else, but I can't say they really work. If you can, get some sprite, ginger ale, and gator ade so you don't get dehydrated. The only other thing I can think of is Dramamine, for motion sickness, it is OTC. Ask the pharmacist at CVS if they have any suggestions also.

Fiona--CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so excited for you, and you will be in my thoghts and prayers tonight and tomorrow.

Magda--No, I am not really showing yet, I just look bloated in the tummy and it looks like I got a boob job. But, I feel so fat because my ovaries are a bit swollen and I DO have 3 embies in there. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow, and although it is a bit early for most people to show and stuff, in my case things are happenning earlier and more intensly. I have just gained weight TTC and with hormonal issues, so I feel fat in general. It all happenned really fast also, in a matter of a few months, and I am used to being "petite". Oh well, it is my time just to be chubby until after these babies are born. Hopefully chasing after kids will help get the extra weight off!

I have not been as nausous the last few days, and it is SOOOOOO nice! I am hoping it lasts, but not holding my breath. I have an appt. with my OB next Monday 3/24, my RE next Wednesday 3/26, and the perinatologist on April 7th. Busy!

My dh told his Dad we are pg--his mom knew already. We are supposed to spend Easter with them and the WHOLE huge family, but I am not sure if I want to go yet. People have been watching me for pg signs since we got married, and I feel like it is kind of obvious already just because my boobs are so PERKY and big, and my tummy is a size bigger clothes-wise. I am just not sure if I am ready to deal with la Cosa Nostra quite yet.
