Yes, but a CBC to look for anemia is almost 100% accurate. If the tests said that you don't have anemia, then your nail color and other things like that are likely unrelated.
I noticed my nails are light in color and that could be a sign of anemia, but I don't know if they have always been like that. My eyelids and gums are fine though. I have naturally pale skin so, does that determine the light color of my nails. I also noticed my brother's nails are around the same color.
Ok, in most cases low ferritin doesn't cause any symptoms at all, unless it is severe enough that it is causing anemia.
Doctor said I wasn't anemic at the time, all the other iron things were normal just low ferritin
I've been tested for Celiac, I do have food allergies (but have cut them out of my diet), a while back I did a vitamin blood test that showed (low ferritin), I really think I may have a parasite.
Stool tests for parasites are relatively accurate. You might want to talk to your doctor about doing another stool sample as sometimes one stool sample will show something that the other didn't. What other tests have you had done?
