Blood in stools

Help, I'm going nuts!!  4 weeks ago, bleeding from rectum.  Dr diagnosed small tear in rectum.  Prescribed taking fibre supplement and cream.  All good, went away.  Fast track to now.  Tummy upset and a bit of diarreah.  OK, no blood in stools.  Then, day later, bit of mucous from anus with blood and then blood on stool.  Went to emergency department.  Dr checked out and found internal hemorroid. OK.  Went to bathroom this morning (2 days later) and found 2 or 3 small, tiny clots which looked like blood mixed in my stools.  I am now freaking out again.  Could this be from the internal hemorroid or something else.  Please help, I am going nuts!!  Thanks.
PS:  Had tomato in dinner and also red peppers.  could this be it.  When i checked it out though it smeared like blood?

Hemorrhoids can burst with a surprising and scary amount of blood.  They are enlarged veins, and if pressure from stool and straining gets too great they rupture.  It's not something that is life threatening, but you do need to keep up with the fiber to avoid constipation and future hemorrhoid development.  Also, if you have diarrhea the amount of bile can be very irritating to hemorrhoids as well, so don't overdo it on the fiber.  :-)

try to avoid the spicy stuff, like the peppers, continue with the fiber and soft foods and see if it gets better
