Husband vomits after eating most foods...Help

my husband throws up almost every time he eats. It started a few months ago and we have no clue why. At first it just started doing it with Fast food MCDs, now its with a lot of home cooked meals too. Please can anyone give me any idea of what going on with him? We dont have any health insurance so a docs appointment is almost impossible.

Just an update on my husband. We found out what the problem was, it was Store brand Ketchup. How we found out. Last month I tried to save a little on the grocery bill my buying Store brand. Well I bought store brand ketchup, fixed some fries at  home, Sure enough he vomited within 5 minutes of eating, the next night we had dinner at a family members, we cook for the family member, we used name brand ketchup. He did not vomit. we repeated this for a couple nights, same thing happened. this month i bought name brand ketchup, no vimting after eating.

i wonder is the store brand Laura Lenn Brand adds something to their ketchup that heinz doesnt????

Thank you both for your input on this, It could be Stress, we have a 3 year old that we're constantly worried about and i'm also pregnant again. And hes always worried about finding a job, hes self employed so is hard for him to find work, especially when it starts getting cold out. I think i'll try and get him an appointment at our local health clinic (if they will take him.) Hopefully it isnt his gallbladder. My moms had gallbladder posioning she almost died from it. So I'm hoping its just stress.

First, I would suggest you seek medical assistance for your hubby, if at all possible. I am NOT a doctor, but one thing I might suspect, especially if he feels better after vomiting, is his gall bladder. Having had gallstones in the past I speak from experience of not knowing what  would trigger the sudden vomiting, but recognizing I felt better once I had gotten sick.Often gall baldder issues are painful ..more so if there are gall stones involved.
The other issue could be stress. Stress is a powerful thing, if he is under a lot of stress and not listening to the warning signals, at some point the mind takes over and says "OK, I'll show you who is in charge" and can literally make a person ill to the point of real and painful physical reactions.
Good  luck..i do hope you can find a doctor or clinic to examine your husband and get to the bottom of this health issue whicht must be very unpleasant for him and difficult for your family

The gluten problem is actually not a food allergy - it is a food intolerance  - meaning you lack enzymes to break down the gluten in certain foods.  And you can't even cheat a little on this diet.

Unfortunately, no on can tell you for sure what is wrong.  The only thing you can do at home is food elimination to see if that stops the problem within a few days.  The food that was causing me to do something similar was gluten (from wheat, barley, rye and oats).  I thought I was gonna have to go to the doctor for help, but decided to try the food thing.  It worked for me.  I hope it helps you.  You can look a gluten free diet up on line.  Then try other food groups to see if they eliminate the problem.  If nothing helps, then you need to see a doctor to make sure it's nothing serious.  Tell your husband to chew his food well before swallowing.  Eat small amounts of food each time to see if it will stay down.

How old is your husband?

He feels as if the food is coming back up, which it does, and no its not like a sick feeling. its just the food comes back up on him. no fever. heartburn every once in a while.

What other symptoms does he have?  Is he nauseous when he throws up or does he feel like the food is backing up into his esophagus?  Does he have pain anywhere?  Any fevers? Does he get heartburn?  If there are any more symptoms, it would be helpful.
