I am not qualified to make an statement about your doctor's diagnoses. Some people do not know that taken antibiotics can kill the bad bugs along with the good bugs that keeps  your gut bacteria at good levels. Probiotics are bacterial cultures that return new, healthy bacteria to your gut. I just had dental surgery, and I was prescribed Amoxicillin 3 times a day until all the antibiotics were taken. I took three antibiotics a day and 1  capsule of probiotics. I had no stomach pain or diarrhea. People I know who take a full amount of antibiotics can develop bloody diarrhea. Any pharmacy sells probiotics. Take the probiotics that are refrigerated, the cultures remain active when kept cold. I wonder whether your nausea came after taken the antibiotics?
