Is it blood in my stools?

I am a 23 yr old female. I am worried about possible blood in my stools. I have constipation for several days and then diarrhea for a day or two, then the cycle restarts. The diarrhea is watery-green and looks like I dumped dark brown sand/dirt in the tiolet. It doesn't look black like coffee grounds, but brown like dirt. Is this blood? I also (most of the time) have a moderate to severe cramping pain in my left side during these bouts of diarrhea that go away immediately following. I had my gallbladder out four and a half years ago following the birth of my daughter. Since then I have had another child. I take Wellbutrin XL 300mg/day for depression and I have the mirena for bc. Otherwise, I am a healthy person. I am finishing nursing school this year, and I realize that this may be something to worry about. I would appreciate your help! Thank you.

Have you considered colitis?  or IBS?  Medical advice from even your family doc would be the best option for you.  Possibly this is a sustained result of the removal of your gall bladder.  Just a late sign!!  Blessings, best of luck!

You should seek medical advice if the pattern of your bowel movements changes.  Also there are tests to examine whether your motions contain any blood that may not be visually apparent.

Maybe try a consistent (= healthy = plenty of fruit/veg/fibre) diet and see whether your motions are less variable.
