Totti....I have what you have I think.
Mine started when I was pregnant with twins. I thought it would go away and it didn't. I asked the Dr. about it and he didn't know anything about it....probably pregnancy discomfort. Then I thought maybe it's hormonal b/c it was still there after birth. I thought maybe when I stop breastfeeding. I breast fed for just 4months total and stopped breasting about 3.5months ago and I still have this random mild, but annoying pain. It comes if I lay on my right side. It feels better if I push on that spot. It's like in my ribs, unilateral right side, kind of under armpit and to the back, but it starting more in the front 9months ago.
What is it? It can't be shingles right? I DID have chicken pox when I was little, but I thought shingles hurt like crazy and you had a rash...I have no rash. I've had this for almost 10months now.
I have a stomach ulcer, but other then that I'm healthy, great BMI, 30 year old female. I'm trying not to be a hypochondriac, but this isn't any cancer right??? My Grandma just died of cancer and a friend of mine, only 35 was diagnosed with breast cancer, so you start questioning things....
If it's supposed to stop after "months" why do I still have it? freaky.

It sounds like shingles, except then there would be painful blisters too. Next thought is costochondritis, which is inflammation of the cartilage around the ribs. It is painful, but otherwise not serious and just takes months to settle down. I have known SEVERAL people who have been through this, even though it is supposedly rare.
