Pancreatic Stone does that mean I have cancer.

Does growth of pancreatic stone mean I have cancer.  I'm scared.  It grew from 2mm to 4mm in 2 years.  I'm now having upper left pain when I eat.  And wake up with morning nausea .  I'm due for Hida scan in 4 days.  But eating fried or fatty food doesn't bother me anymore then other foods.

Thanks for info!  I did Hida with cck.  Get results tomorrow.  It hurt for only 3-4 min. in middle of belly just like before and some ruq (no nausea).  After those 3-4 min. my left (not ruq) begin to hurt but barely.  I had literally no symptoms for 2 days prior to test now I'm wondering if that is a test to do during painful days.

As far as getting the stone out no surgeon here will consider it.  The one surgeon told me "Oh maybe you've had pancreatitus 1-2 times.  Big deal."

Go to gastro on Thurs. finally.

A pancreatic stone is not cancer. A pancreatic stone is a stone-like crystal formed from enzymes, proteins and salts that normally are used for digestion, like a gallstone or kidneystones.
Cancer are alive cells that just grow where they shouldnt and never stop. The stone probably blocks the flux of the enzymes into the intestine, and that hurts. It can even hurt more, once the tissue gets inflamed and the enzymes digest your pancreas instead of the food in your intestine.
Fatty food is not a problem, since it is not a gallstone. You need the pancreatic enzymes to digest proteins and starches.
That stone should be removed, so it doesnt block the duct anymore.
