Pressure, tenderness

Someone please tell me what you think this might be.  I am 46 yo and for the last month I have this pressure right under my right rib not far from my stomach.  It feels as if sonething swells up and stays that way for hours or all day and when it finally goes down, it is then sore and tender in that area.  I don't know what to eat anymore because some foods make it worse.  The other night I had baked chicken and cabbage and the nest day I had this awful pressure again and nausea.  I had an ultrasound and bloodwork and everything looks good except borderline high blood pressure.  I have lots of gas and nausea will go away if I drink pepsi or something that causes me to burp to relieve the gas but the pressure stays.  I thought it might be gallbladder but I do not have the pain that radiates to back and shoulder area, just pressure to the right side of my stomach.  Sometimes it feels as though my stomach is contracting.  Scared to eat anything because it seems to make it worse at times, other times it seems to make it better,   Any info is appreciated.
