flat and black spots in stool

i have stool that is flat and has black spots and sometimes blood but the black spots look like something in it,ranging from pepper to eraser sizes.it also is light colored alot 80% of the time and floats about 40% of the time.

i can't have a bm without taking something.it's like somewhere in my intestenes is flat or really small.it also hurts alot burning sharp pains rolling bad gas,so bad i can feel it moving in my lower abdomen.mainly on what foods i eat.

they said i have ibs but i also have alot of symptoms like lupus or celiac or chron's.i have many syptoms like kidney urine problems,cheek/nose rash dizzyness almost passing out heart racing nerve problems,muscle spasms shaking twitching very tired arthiritis eypididimitis swollen glands and prostate rectum swells around during bm and alot more,i did have fissure and inner hem. surgery but just made it worse. and weight loss.

i'm only 21 and have had some of this since i was 12 including depression anxiety exc. please help,thanks

thanks both of you that really helps.i had medicaid until two days ago.(americhoice).i do have pains in lower left and right abdomen.sometimes sharp but i also hurt around the belt line but it's differnet it's like burning and pressure which anus pain is bad during bm.

and bad gas and can't seem to get it to move out of my lower stomach and urine problems also(like blood protein swollen prostate exc.).i think uc is one of my problems thanks again .

Oh Yeah, UC can cause absorption problems. Also, you should be taking Vitamin D3 every single day. Get your Vit D levels checked. If you have an autoimmune disease researchers have found defiency in Vitamin D is fairly common too. Good luck!

The flat stool and pain you speak of and the black specks are all indicative to Ulcerative Colitis. Which I have. The inflammation inside the colon causes the stool to be either flat or pencil size and the inflammation can go all the way to the anus making it extremely painful to have a bowel movement. The black specks suggest that you have bleeding in the beginning part of your bowel or even in the small intestine. With Ulcerative Colitis which takes place only within the large bowel to the anus the pain is usually to the right and left and upper abdomen. If your pain also centers around the belly button you may be experiencing inflammation in the small bowel as well which could be a sign of Crohn's disease.  All of your symptoms suggest you need to see a Gastroenterologist or Internist for a Colonoscopy. People who have inflammation in the bowel are prone to polyps which can lead to cancerous growths. If you have an inflammatory condition most doctors want you to have a colonoscopy every two to three years. A Colonoscopy is no big deal and you're asleep for the whole thing. I had one a year and a half ago and had three polyps removed and was diagnosed with UC. I take Cholestyramine twice a day and use a probiotic called Culturelle which is fabulous. Get a Colonoscopy ASAP. Good luck!

Nerve problems and muscle twiching may be due to potassium malabsorption, or from irregular food intake. Blood work can reveal this. Iron, vit B, white blood cells - well complete blood work, this is maybe the first thing you need.

About the diet: As low fat-diet as you can afford. Fats are in (mostly red) meat, egg yolk, nuts, oil, cakes, chocolate, cheese (and other hard dairy products).

I've read your first post again.
If you're dizzy, be sure to drink enough (you should excrete about 200 ml of clear urine every morning). Dizzines may also be from anemia (someone said, you have a pale skin?). In this case iron supplements would help.

What about this:
Have a stool fat test. If it will be positive, this is a sign of malabsorption (probable small intestinal disease. Hemmocult test shows blood in the stool (in Crohn's). Bloodwork may show anemia or signs of inflammation. If all this will be positive, Crohn's disease is possible (rash, losing weight and your age also speak for it). Calculate the costs and have these basic tests.

If you're from US, you may want to check for some help within "Medicaid" or "Medicare". I'm pretty sure someone will be willing to pay your health bills, if it comes out you need more investigations like colonoscopy. Try to have some basic tests, if you can. If you can't afford this, go straight to some charity organiosation and explain your situation. Leaving Crohn's disease untreated for a long time may cause more complications than you want.

it does have all that,flat smelly greasy light colored some times with food undigested especially lettuce.and i'm have a hard time having a bm,it's not really like constipation,it just doesn't want to move and my left leg goes numb during bm.i am taking mirlax every other day or i do get constipated.

i'm not sure when i can have these test(no insurance)any suggestions on foods ,vitamins exc.i did take antibiotics for over a month and didn't help(cipro and bactrim)thanks.
