food poisoning

My son ate two double burgers and some fries from Mcdonald's at & 7:00 pm and started vomitting at 3
;00 in the morning on and off until 8:00 in the morning. When I took him to the doctor that morning he was dehydrated that he had to be admitted into the hospital overnight so that could give him some iv fluids. That was the only thing that he ate.  I know how they cook their meat.  they precook it and run it through the broiler when customers order.  Does'nt this form some sort of bacteria from recooking or warming mat over and over again

Vomiting after poisoning with staphylococcus aureus may appear in 30 minutes after eating. Clostridium perfringens need 6-24 hours...These two bacteria produce toxins, so stomach inflammation is actually due to toxins and not bacteria itself.

If the food was contaminated before cooking, and food not refrigerated, toxins were released into a food before cooking. With cooking, bacteria were killed, but not toxins. This occurs with staph. Clostridium may survive cooking in the form of spores. When a food cools down, the spores go in the active form again and produce toxin.

So, food which stays out of refrigerator either BEFORE or AFTER cooking, may cause food poisoning.

I don't know how they "disinfect" that grounded meat. Hamburgers are typical for food poisoning. In those minutes of cooking outthere on the street, the core of grounded meat mass may not always reach apropriate temperature to kill bacteria.

Could be, anytime you eat mcdonalds you should be prepared for this, all those chemicals in the food and such.  If it can really be called food.  If you eat at mcdonalds you should just prepare to be sick for the next day or two, because it's really just a gamble on whether or not your going to be sick from it.

of course thats just my opinion.  i stopped eating fast food, it's barely even food anymore.

Typical food poisining takes atleast 24 hours to develop or atleast thats what I have been told by my doctor. So I doubt it was from bacteria in the food, it could have been contaminated with chemicals from them cleaning and then cooking on the sae surface who knows...
