nausea during ovulation

Hello,  my name is Keri.   Once in a while, it seems during ovulation, or a week before my period I start to feel nausea.  This has decreased some, since I have been trying to do gluten free and dairy free.   I had blood tests run for numerous things, and the Gyn also ran some tests to see if possible Ovarian cancer.   All the tests came back fine.   They think that it may be perimenopausal?  does this sound possible.  I am 39.  My mother had a full hysterectomey in her early 40's, so they said that it would be hard to tell by my mother.     I am always worried that maybe it could still be OC.  What do you think?

Thank you for your comment.  Yes they did do an ultrasound and bloodwork.   They actually did it 2 months in a row.  I did at the time have the cysts, but they were normal in size and different both times.   That does make sense with the salt and sugar, I do find myself eating more of that too.   Thanks again.

My 14 year old daughter experiences the same thing when she eats too many sweets before her period.  I have heard that it can also happen with salt.

If you GYN ran ALL the tests for ovarian cancer which came back negative, I would trust that.  Was an ultrasound done (not the abdominal one, but an internal one, if you get my drift?).  You could be experiencing ovarian cysts as well.

You may want to post on the GYN board as well.

Just some thoughts.
Praying that you find answers soon.
