Blood at the tip of nose

I am very sorry but I cannot figure out in which category to post this question.

I was squeezing my nose last night at all of a sudden blood started appearing at the tip of my nose (inside the nose).

At first it was red but in a minute it turned black at it kept this way for 20h now. The tip of my nose is black.

What can I do?

Thank you

That's ok you are not a naive speaker.

What I meant by trauma to your nose:  Did you hit it?  Did you fall on it?  That's what I meant.

After reading your second post, yes this is related to the nose bleeds you started having 2 1/2 years ago.  It is possible a small vascular bed bleed out into the tissues; the tip of your nose.  Sounds like your physician was recommending you have some vessels in your nose cauterized (burned) in order to control and/or stop the nose bleeds.

A Hematoma is just a collection of blood in the surrounding tissues.  You can have them anywhere on the body.  Usually it is more unsightly vs. painful.

Please do have this followed up.

BTW:  I have had a growth cauterized off my ear and it didn't hurt at all.

Oh yes, ice, so totally forgot to mention that to you.  The cold from the ice causes the blood vessels to constrict, thus helping the area to resolve.

I am glad it has dissolved.

You are welcome.  :)

Hey,

the black spot has dissolved. I went to a doctor and she said that for little spots like that ice is used.

If you have bigger spots then you have some treatment (not sure what exactly).

Thanks for again for your answers!

DO NOTHING TO IT.

See your physician.

All the best.

Thanks for the explanation.

I didn't hit, fall on or hurt my nose in any way. I was just squeezing it to get some impurities out.

Is there anything I can do? Like squeeze the blood out?

Probably I shouldn't mess with it and just visit the physician.

What do you mean by trauma to my nose (not native speaker, sorry)?

If you mean this: about two and a half years ago I started having these strong nose bleedings that lasted for half an hour every months or so. I went to a doctor and she said I should do go to  so they'd burn the veins inside my nose somehow.

I didn't go to the specialist as I didn't find the notion of burns in my nose attractive and eventually those nose bleedings became less and less often. Now I don't have them anymore (I think the last time I had nose bleeding was few months ago and it wasn't strong at all). Could these two be related?

Does hematoma appear often on a nose?

By the way, if I touch my nose it doesn't hurt me or anything.

Please have a physician assess this ASAP.

In my opinion, it looks like a hematoma, but from what I don't know.

No trauma to your nose at all?

I dont know the reason for your bleeding nose. That might be a possibility that your nose got hurt while you were squeezing, but as you mentioned, its now 20h, you should visit a doctor. He would be the right person to help you.

And tell us know...how you feel then.
Take care
