Injection drunk?

Hi there,
Is it really true that you dont feel pain when you are drunk? And what exactly is drunk?

I, once , drank 2 beers and a shot of tequila. First i got buzzed and my words were slurring a bit. Then i dunno why i got a severe headache. After some 40 mins , i went and lied on the floor and slept . Well the sleep was not a very comfortable one like we sleep at home. It was a hard and hot surface and initialy i had trouble falling asleep . I also woke up inbetween now and then.

Now , if somebody stuck a needle into me ( injection ) , would i have woken up? Normally i definitely would , but on that occasion would the alcohol prevent me from waking up?

ps: i had puked thrice and i slept only around 40 mins after drinking.

Thank you maam for your response.

My last query ,

Would a really drunk person know if somebody sticks a needle ( injection ) behind them? Here the person is awake but is drunk with same scenario ( severe headache , puked and has little difficulty to walk and talk. )

Thanks in advance.

Everyone's system handles alcohol differently, so there really is not clear cut defintion for being drunk. However, from your description, I would say you were drunk.

As to feeling the injection, since you were not sleeping too soundly  and kept waking up, I doubt if you would have stayed asleep if someone had given you a shot.

I wish I could be of more help, but, as I said, I just am not 100% sure.
