Salty, lips, tongue, mouth

I have had a salty taste in my mouth, tongue and or lips and this has been ongoing for months and months.  I have tried rinsing with peroxide, and that helped for a while but then it came back again with a vengence.  Any recommendations?

Dont know if you are a guy or a gal or a bit of both but could it be a lipstick or a gel you are allergic to, if you do put anything on your mouth stop for a few days , see if it stops then try again, if it returns you have your answer also Shower gels or shampoo that could splash on your mouth when showering.
