Catch in the throat

Catch in the throat when I drink. Feels like something is there, but looking there is nothing. There is dark coloring on the sides (I smoke).

It may be heart burn and or indigestion.  Do you have any other symptoms like fever, chills, nausea, etc?  There  any possibilities, smoking a negative contributing factor, if it continues to bother you or worsens please talk to a physician.  Hope you feel better soon.

Maybe tonsil stones? I always felt like something was stuck at the back of my tongue or throat when I had stones. Use a mirror and carefully inspect your tonsils. Clean hands! Gentley! Or it could be all the smoking. Then you should quit :) feel better
