Dizzy when I woke up

Today in the morning (Still sleeping) I opened my eyes for like 1 second and then changed position, closed my eyes again and I started feeling dizzy. So I opened my eyes and the room was spinning. I closed my eyes again and it went away quickly. I fell asleep for 1 more hour and when I woke up I didn't have this problem anymore.

This never happened to me before. The room was just spinning (I didn't see black).
Also, last night I dyed my hair before going to bed, so I wonder if the dizziness is related.

I am 24, I am woman and I have a baby.

Thanks

You can experience room spinning sensations which can be from a problem with the inner ear.  The inner ear is the mechanism that controls balance.  It can also be from moving your neck and head too quickly.

As this was a one off and you are fine now, I would not worry about it.

Should you experience it again, then I would advise a visit to the doctor to check your blood pressure, and your ears.

Recurrent problems like that can be a condition called Meniere's Disease.

Best wishes.

Hhhmmm... Medications can have this effect the morning after taking them.  I am currently on a med that does this if I am awakened too early, and on top of that, I must be physically shaken to come out of sleep.  Think about what you may have ingested that may have done this.  I wouldn't discount the hair dye: it has chemicals in it that can leak into your body through your skin, and if you were in contact with it for a long time, that could be it.  Blessings - Blu
