I think the best vitamins would be from a chiropractor or from a health food store.  - stay away from margerine - it turns into plastic in your gut.  Butter is a good choice and remember we need good fats like coconut oil and olive oil to function properly.  These do not raise your cholesteral - avocados are also a good fat and will lower your cholesteral.  CoQ10 will also lower your choloesteral.  Many people cut out all fats to lower cholesteral and find themselves with dry eyes and dry skin.  Don't be afraid of a steak once in a while also.  People in the Bible ate beef and lamb.  Good health to you!

Silverfox, you are most knowledge regarding, herbs, vitamins, etc. I am like minded myself. I appreciate all your comments here, I feel the natural way is the best when it can be done that way.

I would add to the list of appetite increasers, take the herb "alfalfa" I took it for awhile for other problems, and man, it sure made my hungry.

PS get some good multiple vitamins - make sure they have enough magnesium to keep your muscles and heart healthy.  I hope you start feeling better soon.

To lose weight we have to stay away from bread - so I suggest eating bread at every meal.  You still need to eat vegetables and protein.  Thinking potatoes and yams with butter.  Also sugar makes you fat - so eat a dessert after supper.  And  some vanilla ice cream about an hour before bed should help you sleep and gain weight too.  It's not necessary to eat fast food to gain weight - better to eat the right foods and gain slowly.  Probiotics are also very important - should take them before breakfast.  If you take them after meals, they make you lose weight.  So be sure to take them first thing in the morning - they will help you digest your food and get the most nutrients.  After all, you want to stay healthy.

Essiac is available at any health food store.  It does not interfere with diabetes, heart trouble, thyroid etc.  The Echinacea is also available at health food stores.  Neither is very expensive.  Just be sure it's the Purple cone flower root - regular Echinacea will not make you hungry.

For fibromyalgia pain I take Essiac. (It comes in tea or capsule form.  I prefer the capsules from HCBL)

Purple cone flower root. (aka Echinacea)  Has to be the root not the flower extract.  It makes you hungry as all get out.  My daughter takes it to gain weight and it seems to be helping - she is eating so much more and much better.   Hope it helps you, too.
