Hi, I wanted to ask that since last on year i have something that is troubling me in my chest area. It seems like that sometimes there is something stuck just besides my heart and since last one year i feel that on and off. I have done several tests like ecg etc but nothing was diagnosed. I wanted to inform you that i was a chain smoker and left smoking few weeks back and now i'm not taking anything that can harm me. Also my left hand is paining on and off since few weeks may be it was anxiety because there was a lot of work load that time but why it pains now and especially when i work. I can also feel irritation and a blocked nerve like symptom in my neck. There was a doctor who diagnosed that there is an ulcer problem but can ulcer and gastric plays such a major part and also what can be the issue of that stuck and irritating kind of a thing in my chest area and why my hand pains.

I would see another doctor, also, discuss this with a chiropractor, they may find some pinched nerves in your upper spinal column, and if so, this can cause the pain and tingling.

Yes, sometimes gastric issues can mimic heart issues, especially a hiatus hernia, you might want to be checked for that as well.
