I burnt an entire plastic bin by accident, am i going to die?

I couldn't get into my home and i was really cold, so i found one of those small metal bins, with the removable polypropylene inner bin, to make a fire. I put some coal in, then some wood and some cardboard, i set the whole thing alight and sat down, enjoying the heat... suddenly a hole appeared in the plastic and i realised my mistake, i had forgot to put the (now melting) plastic bit in to the metal bin. so i ran and did that, and the fire was roaring and everything seemed fine, i couldn't smell the plastic and i was outside with the little wind there was blowing away from me. however a few seconds later i noticed a burning liquid dribbling down the metal, and the same liquid seeping out from under the bin... all the plastic was melting and it began to smell really bad, i sat there for about 10 mins with the smell then got up and walked away because it was so bad... i noticed another large piece of plastic burning behind the bin, so i put the fire out and covered my face with my shirt before removing the bin entirely... i then waited a couple of minuets for the smell to go and sat back down there for about an hour before my mate came with the keys to the house...

after a while sitting in my house watching Netflix i developed a small cough, the my throat began to hurt when i coughed, then my back began to have searing pain, now i have this extreme headache and i feel like my lungs are bursting, please someone tell me i'm not going to die or get like cancer or something?

oh and my front yard now has a permanent plastic stain...

No, I don't think you'll die from a one time exposure of burning plastic.  However, I'm sure your neighbors were annoyed with you.  :>)  Glad you got into your place but sorry the yard is a mess after you made a fire that melted all over it.  In some areas, it's illegal to start a fire like that so I would make sure that is not the case where you live.  good luck
