Issues with Right Side of Face

I woke up about a week ago with issues on the right side of my face. My eye was extremely dry with an inability to make tears, my muscle in my cheek was not functioning and my inner ear was in pain. The left side of my face is still fully functioning. I'm not sure of what caused this. After taking amoxicillin for about a week now, my eye is back to normal working condition but my muscle in my cheek and mouth is still not fully functioning. I am unable to smile correctly and have issues eating and moving my jaw muscle. I believe the muscle is swollen, but I am unsure. My ear is still in discomfort, but not pain. I was wondering if someone has any suggestions as to what this is or what caused it.

It sounds like Bells Palsey to me. Sorry, I know the spelling is wrong.
What did your Dr have to say about this?
