General Health

Experiencing mild lower back pain radiating to my knees and bright red blood streaking on one side of stool.  I've been taking Aleve daily for awhile for tendonitis in my shoulder.  Could this be causing these symptoms?

YES! Aleve is a NSAID(non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug) that has warnings on label that tell consumer to not use long term and can cause gastrointestinal bleeding. Stop Aleve now and see Dr regarding pain in shoulder and bloody stools. This is very serious and is treatable. See Dr asap!

You should check on the blood in stool.  You could have an ulcer from the Aleve.
