I have been getting headaches & they are might be down to migraines.

I have been getting a lot of headaches off late and I had been putting them down to long hours in front of the system. But the last one I got had me wanting to tear the hair out from my head and I am worried that they might be down to migraines or worse. How do I tell the difference?

Do regular lights hurt your eyes when you see them... not even directly looking at them? Thats a sign... of migraine...

Usually a migraine is severe but they can vary. They usually on one side of the head and can also effect the eye. You can have a aura or not.  Computers and flashing lights or certain types of light can trigger a migraine. Try to adjust your computer to be different speed than the light in the room. I don't know what the speed is but ask someone. Avoid, MSG, red wine, sulfites, walnuts, cheddar cheese and so forth. To get diagnosed for  a migraine see a neurologist and/or see  your doctor and see if you can get an EEG this will help diagnose if it is a migraine. THey can look at your eyes for some other problems and also do a CT scan or MRI to look at brain images if necessary.
