Oil from rectum and in stool

I have an 11-year-old son who was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and acid reflux a few years ago.  Over the last two years we have weaned him off his medication and he has not shown any of the classic symptoms associated with either condition.  However, from time to time he will have a little yellow mucus spontaneously come out of his anus.  No gas, stomach pain, bloating, chest discomfort or anything other than the mucus from the anus.  Today he had a bright orange oily substance covering his underwear.  Not just a little spot, A LOT.  When he had a bowel movement the water in the toilet was covered in little drops of this orange oil.  He had frozen pizza at a friend’s house for lunch at about noon and this happened around 2:00.  The oil looks like the grease from the pizza.  Can this be from lactose intolerance?  Is it a malabsorbtion problem?  Should I be worried?  Is it ever normal to have this happen?  Last time he saw his Gastro specialist was a year and a half ago.  He was supposed to have a lower endoscopy but because his symptoms were better we never followed through with it.

yea it could be the lactose intolerance...there is cheese on pizza, but i would say to go see a gastro-specialist, he may need a HIDA scan done on his Gallbladder...to ensure its functioning correctly...and a blood test to check for celiac(sprues) disease, he could be allergic to many things...no this is not normal and you should see a DR ASAP...keep me posted and best of luck
