Question regarding Vaping(E-Cig) and Nicotine/Cotinine levels in blood tests

I am 25 yrs old and consider myself a non-smoker. Just recently I had some blood drawn and urinalysis for employment purposes. About 4-5 days prior to the tests, my friend was Vaping (those electronic cigs) and offered me to try his new flavor. So I took a handful of puffs, not thinking about it. About 20 mins later it dawned on me that those still contain nicotine. For the next 3 days I was drinking lots of water, Vit C, exercising, and also drinking some Wheatgrass (anti-oxidant), all to clear out my system.

I have no history of smoking. Just tried my buddies Vape like once a month for the past 3 months, the last time being 4 days before the test like i mentioned above.

What are the chances that my blood test levels for Nicotine and Cotinine come back as "smoker" levels..? Does it coming from a Vape change how much the level goes up? Would the level have tapered down each day?

Just looking for overall information regarding this matter.
Thank you for your time.

Sean

The level of nicotine depends on the milligrams in the e-liquid. You should find out what strength your friend vapes. Nicotine is nicotine no matter where it comes from, so it won't be different than it would with cigarettes, it all depends on how much was in the liquid. As it only takes a matter of days to be out of your system it may well not even show up.
