Seeking help to fight inflammation in the body.

My body has high levels of inflammation. It has been attacking my eyes for a few years now. I just had my fourth eye surgery a couple of days ago, and just like the last few times i'm alright for now. However the inflammation is starting to attack my hair. My doctor does not know why. I am not in any pain, I just have blurred vision and bold spots in my head from loosing hair. I have had all type of test ran and they can not find what the cause of the inflammation is. Is there any thing that I can do? I don't want to loose my vision or my hair for ever.

Any market will have Tumeric. It is a common spice. It has many good properties and also may be anti-altzheimers and anti-cancer some studies suggest. I use it in my whole grain rice for flavor and it is good too. We also switched to being vegan with no added oil. It is the McDougall whole plant based diet. We have found it has lowered both of our cholesterols substantially, we have lost weight and yet eat quite a bit. It is based on eating not meat, milk products, eggs or added oils so it takes some getting used to. For protein we eat whole grains, potatoes, legumes, quinoa , and lots of fruits and veggies you can have some soy and soy milk for the calcium. But, it supposedly reverses arthritis, athroschlerosis, diabetes, and a variety of things. If you are interested in reading about it there are several doctors that have written about the same type of diet. But basically, the book the Starch Solution by John A. McDougall MD has a lot of detail about  the diet affects your  health and how to go on the diet. Also, Dr. Colin Campbell did the China Study which is a large study capering the western diet to the Chinese diet and how it effects your health, etc. I read many books before changing our diet. I hope this helps. It does sound like you have an autoimmune disease. I hope they ran all those types of tests.
take care,

I thank you for the feed back. Where can I get Turmeric from? Forgive me for asking but I have never hears of it and I'm willing to try it. Is it in pill form or powder? I need to start this today.

A natural remedy for inflammation is Boswellia (standardized boswellic acids).   1200 to 1500 milligrams twice a day is the standard dosage.  Bromelain and Echinacea are also anti-inflammatories.  - I have inflammation because of Fibromyalgia and I take Fish Oil and Turmeric for it.  It seems to help me.  Perhaps a combination of some of these natural supplements will help you.
