It cannot be helped, lol!
You're assuming the worse, which is understandably reasonable, like you might have something incurable or you might even die.
The stabbing pains, the inability to breathe freely, the fear to move certain ways.
Sounds like pleurisy to me, which is an infection/inflammation of the pleura affecting chest, lung and shoulder areas and it can easily be confused with frozen shoulder. It is possible though that these 2 conditions could also be simultaneously present.
It may feel worse with deeper breathing and certain movements.
Pleurisy usually lasts up to two weeks and since it is caused mostly by a viral infection, antibiotics wouldn't help, unless it's a bacterial infection.
In certain cases, excess fluid in the pleural cavity may have to be drained with the use of a tube.
I had 2 bouts of pleurisy in the past and in both cases
after doing several applications of DMSO (over freshly washed skin and in thin layers) and Reiki -I am a Reiki Master- it resolved in both instances within 2-3 days.
You may need to revisit the doctor, should the symptoms persist or worsen.
Best wishes,
Niko
