Should I consult my dentist?

Hi.. Five days ago I had done my dental crown procedure in Sierra Dental, Calgary After the surgery everything was quite okay except the fact that from day three onwards I was having a  slight burning sensation (soreness) in that surgical area. I thought of visiting my dentist but now I feel okay I don’t feel the soreness anymore. Should I consult my dentist? Has anyone experienced this before

I think you should but call your dentist first and tell what you are experiencing. In this kind of dental surgery I believe you would be prescribed with some pain relievers and antibiotic medications. Don't visit the dentist just a phone call will do. If an appointment is made then you should go.

Hello
If you are feeling OK now, then I would not worry about contacting your dentist, however, if it returns, then definitely call and make and appointment with him.

may i know if you are given any antibiotics after the procedure. if given, during their use few patients may develop ulcerations in the site of procedure like  injection site . if it does not get healed in a week you may consult your dentist near by.
