Strange pain in lower back and thigh area!

The past two months I have had intermittent pain that is usually on my right side that starts in my lower back and goes down sometimes through my glute and back of the thigh, but then i also have random deeper aching down the front of my right thigh/groin and then more occasionally pain in the left side of my leg. My doctor said it was sciatica and to not do too much heavy lifting but I haven’t done anything physically exerting recently. Sometimes it’s worse when I wear heels and when I sit/don’t do a lot of activity. I usuallly get some form of the pain every day. Does this sound like sciatica?

So that is where a nerve runs and could be sciatica pain.  Basically, a pinched nerve or compressed nerve.  It's painful, I've had it!!  Stretching is really key (stretch lower back, hamstring, calves, heels). Ibuprofen can help with pain relief.  Ice pack or heating pad, either will also help with relief.  But really, stretching is the best remedy in such situations.  You can see a doctor to be sure.  good luck
