anal fissure..plsssss help !!

i'm 30 yr married woman.i have a question about anal fissure..i had a tear in my anus last year.i dint go to any doctor.i described symptoms on phone to a doctor n it definately looks like a fissure.i tuk stool softner 4r couple of days( as adviced) n made changes in diet, eating fiber, prunes, prune juice,carrots,oranges..making sure to get 25 gms of fiber.since 4 months i had no problem.but i'm trying to loose some weight n prunes & prune juice contains lot of calories so i started takin fiber suppliments( abot 6 gms of fiber) n stopped with the prune & juice.continuing with other fiber rich diet..its been a week n i had a hard n dry stool which caused a tear again ..i drink 12 glasses of water.my problem is ONLY THE STARTING PART OF STOOL IS HARD & DRY.first i thought thats just in my mind but i saw it (sorry, i know its gross but  i want to be clear ).i suffered last year b'coz i coudnt use tp n i dint wanted to go out.i had to carry bunch of stuff like moist wipes, lubricating gel..i dont want to go thru that again..its frustrating.i'm takin good diet, walk , exercise but nothin seems to help..never had constipation .even now i dont have a problem going. regular defecation..pls help..
thankyou..

Keep a list of foods you eat, and where they came from, and see if there's a pattern. I found out I can't eat concentrated dairy products.

Try taking Benefiber. A friend of mine had a hard time as well. She tried it and in about 3 days, she noticed a big difference.

Also, if you can, go to the doctor. Your problem may not be fiber and/or water. The body is funny. So if you can, please get a checkup.
