What could this be?

I was at work the other morning, and i suddenly felt very very faint and sick.
all i could hear was echos and the room around me felt like it was spinning, the whole experience seemed to last for what felt like 10-15mins.i then felt awful for the rest of the day and then had another episode later on in the shower. it wasnt because i was hungry or thirsty as i had eaten and had kept my fluids up. although i was very cold that morning as it was a frosty morning could that have something to do with it? but that doesnt explain the episode in the shower? can anybody  help? x

Hello I agree with caregiver.  It is most likely anemia, low or high blood pressure, or could possible be  a blood sugar issue, even though you've eaten your pancreas may not be properly doing it's job.   Also, is it possible you might be pregnant because pregnancy can cause this too?  I Hope This Helps!       Good Luck.

Generally, in females, such an episode is due to anemia, or a low red blood cell count. To "rule out" this possibility you need bloodwork.

Orthostatic vital signs would determine if you were dehydrated.

There is also the possibility of a neurological etiology, a yellow flag suggestive of seizure activity, although this is unlikely. If the blood work is normal, an MRI and MRA might be suggested.

Sometimes such an episode is due to vagal stimulation.

The best thing to do is to have a medical examination in an ER as soon as possible after such an episode.
