What is going on with my head?

Starting maybe 2 weeks ago on Saturday I started to notice a painful feeling in the back of my head that only occurred when I would do something that caused strain such as reaching down to grab something, raising my voice, etc. Anyway this all started after I smacked my head on a metal pole sticking out of the side of my dads house and I just thought I would let it be and see if it would go away. However after about a week the pain was still there and I decided to consult a doctor. The doctor ran a bunch of neurological tests on me and I passed them with ease. She decided that it would be best to get a CT scan to see what the issue was. Before I continue on let me first say I have extremely bad anxiety so this has been grueling on me. Anyway, the day had come for the CT scan and I wasn't sensing any pain so I called to get it cancelled thinking I was finally over whatever it was I had. But of course, after my basketball game later that night I began to feel very very dizzy afterward and I began to feel as though I was going to die, don't know if that was my anxiety kicking in or not. I then tried to get another CT scan appointment but of course now I have to wait until Monday of next week and it has been a day since my basketball game and I still feel somewhat light headed and I am fearing for the worst right now but don't wanna go into urgent care because they are practically useless in situations like this. If someone could please give me a reason for why this is happening it would be greatly appreciated because right now I fear nothing but the worst such as a brain bleed or something of that nature. Thank you.

The good news here is that you are working and consulting with your doctor.  All you can do is get that ct scan but I suspect this has to do with the fall and bruising and stiff muscles.  We have a ton of little interconnected muscles going up to the back of our head, attaching behind our ear, etc.  Try not to worry.  It's also good to acknowledge that you have anxiety.  Talk to your doctor about this as well and even if you do not take medication for anxiety, some coping strategies when you feel it may be helpful.  Because that too can cause your muscles to tighten up and lead to head ache.  good luck
