darvocet and asthma

I have an absessed (sp?) tooth and my dr prescribed me darvocet.  I also have asthma and I have noticed that my chest is tight and it is harder to breathe.  I have only been taking this for 2 days now and only 1 tablet about every 4-5 hours while awake.  Is this normal?

Is your dentist aware that you have asthma? I would call the pharmacy and ask them about taking this med with your asthma and your asthma medication. Take care. Remar
