feeling of warm fluid in outer ear, but not really

I get a feeling of warm fluid in my outer ear several times a day that lasts for less than 5 seconds. I have no other symptoms. It began near the end of my 2 week antibiotic treatment for Impetigo, which is all cleared up now.

I found your post when I was looking for answers to the same symptom; the feeling of warm fluid on my outer ear. There is no fluid, no pain or discomfort. The sensation passes only to come back again later.
This started when I was having an acupuncture session and though there was no blood from the needles on my ear, that's what I thought was happening. The sensation has returned several times daily since then and that acupuncture session was well over a month ago.

It sounds like your ear is draining. Did your Dr. say you had an ear infection? That could cause fluid drainage. Take care. Remar
