If you've been treated for Thrush, there's a yeast over growth in your body. If you've ever taken a course of antibiotics, you will have a yeast over growth. When you take antibiotics to kill the bacteria that are causing an infection, you kill the beneficial bacteria as well as the infection causing bacteria. Unfortunately bad bacteria get a foothold in the body faster than the beneficial bacteria, the mutual balance between the good and bad has been lost and you have to bring in some more of the good guys and create conditions within your body to help the good guys get re-established. How? Go to your local health store and purchase some high quality probiotic capsules (usually refridgerated) get as potent (in the 100 billions count) a supply as you can, follow the bottle dosage. Get a bottle of nascent iodine if they have it (if not get what oral supply they have) and follow the dosage on the bottle (search nascent iodine on the web and read more about it) Get a bottle of Selenium and one of zinc (these 3 supplements are used to treat Candida (yeast overgrowth). Eat 80% fresh vegetables,try to stay away from fruits for now they give the yeast sugar to feed on, try to cut out milk products, wheat products (breads, pasta, etc as these are converted to sugar in the body and give yeasts food) and cut way back on meat. Eat garlic and onion, the sulpher content helps to bring the inner condition of the body more alkaline, beneficial bacteria thrive in conditions that are alkaline and oxygenated. walk a couple times a day for a few minutes and drink lots of water to help with flushing out of all the dead yeast bacteria that will begin to die off, walking will help move it out even more. When yeast die off rapidly you can experience 'healing crisis', it just means you will feel a bit more lousy befor eyou begin to feel really good. If you ever have to take anti-biotics again, always take pro-biotics along with them and take them for 3 months after. Keep on taking iodine as part of a daily regimine to protect your thyroid and other organs. Add magnesium and Krill Oil to that regimen and you are giving your body the tools it needs to look after itself.
Your white bacteria coated tongue will look nice and pink again when the yeast are under control. Your breath will probably smell better too, get some fresh parsley from the grocery store and chew on it, it freshens the breath and it's good for you too, it helps with digestion.
