i am 46 and i stopped breast feed my son 5 years ago , why do I still have breast milk when I sqeeze them and is it dangerous or harmful?

my mom has that ,shes going thru the change of life thats why that happends she said

I'm not a doctor and only certified in mammography. I breast fed all 3 of my children. I had the same thing happen to me once. It was many years after I had breast fed, just like you. I went to the doctor and they found no problems. it went away in a couple of weeks and never happened again. Do go to the doctor and have your mammograms as directed. Joya

Honestly I think that is something you should bring up with your gp. I mean it might be completely normal (if you think back to the days when some women were wet nurses for a living, they had milk coming out of their breasts for years), but there could be something askew with your hormones. Also, because of your age, if you haven't had one yet, it's time for a mammogram.
