Potentially dirty food

I just went to get a slice of pizza and the server dropped the box he was going to use onto the floor for a second. He then put my slice of pizza into the box but the slice may have rubbed against the part of the box that had touched the floor before it went in.
Could this be dangerous if the floor of the pizza place was very dirty?
If so, what could the consequences be and how long would it likely take before I got sick.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, anything that falls to the floor should NOT be used especially if you working in any FOOD establishment no matter if it is a trusted place or not. This is not according to what I believe, but what the HEALTH DEPARTMENT requires.

Plus, you shouldn't have accepted this from the worker and made him get a container that DIDN'T fall on the floor.  You should have reported the worker.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over or obsess over getting some terrible illness from this.

If the restaurant is a trusted place then I highly doubt the floor would be very dirty. If there is no rat poison or a 7 week old dead rat on the floor then I don't think this is very dangerous. Your immune system is capable to deal with a small amount of dirt. However, if the food was in contact with blood or raw chicken then you may get a food poisioning which can make you very sick. This should be treated urgently and the symptoms are obvious e.g. puking and headaches and feverly symptoms. All the best.

First you should not have accepted it from him should you, and made them change it, as you have not said how long ago this was, so if you can answer this you must be heathly and in your right mind, so your not sick, the human body is built to fight off any commom microbs, so it seems that your body is working properly.
But next time you see this happening send it back and ask to see the mannager, and report it.
Good Luck and do you need it.

Sorry, this server SHOULD BE reported.  Anything that falls to the floor should be thrown away and he should have gotten another box.  Sounds TOTALLY disgusting and unacceptable.   I can't imagine any food establishment condoning this.

Of course you could get sick from whatever was on the floor.  I said "could" not "will."
